The custom beauty panel looks dirty on the left in this pic for some reason, it's not.. Amp and carpeted amp rack are attached to the rear seat frame, subs firing upward...

Very nice work. I have never used a dash kit on a Mark cause I could never find one that I was happy with the fit. I like how that covers the sides. I usually have to make an ABS trim ring and thats a PITA.

How does it look with the trim on it? Does it fill up the hole correctly?

Did you make the speaker trim rings? Did you use the stock JBL front tweeter location?

Do you have pics of the amp and sub box?

How do you like the components?

Anyway, dig it so far! I like the sound of the typr R subs. They are very smooth in a sealed box and are impressivly loud in a ported.

NM, you posted the pics when I was responding.

The deck kit looks real good! What did you end up using?

PS; I would take a 6-8" section of 4awg ground and use that opening on the battery terminal. Should allow for a .5v gain when the system is loaded.

Dash kit.

It works better then nothing at all. The top and sides are great. The bottom of it left a very small gap that i closed using a very narrow strip of velcro, the "soft" side similiar to what's on there originally. Only other thing I can think of is that the wood trim is 1/8" from sitting completly flush at the top of the dash trim. I havn't bothered with it since I installed it. All I know is that something needs a tit hair of trimming.

I did indeed use the stock locations for the tweets f+r using the oem housings.
The comps sound good considering they're being powered by the h/u. Tweets are loud and clear and the mid's ain't half bad either. Though far from what they could be if I amped them, but still gets loud enough for my ears to ring.. The 8band eq is flat all around and the f+r tweets x-over's are at -3.

The r's are nice but I need a new box. Kinda limited if I want to keep the trunk setup looking the same.

I tried the b3 but I couldn't retain the intech cover w/ the 4awg on the alt so I removed it. Someday i'll do it again but i'm not sure if I have to keep the oem 10awg alt wire on. If I can remove it I wouldn't have any clearance issues..

More pics of your gps mount.

The mount's prob 6wx3h. I used some sturdy thin metal I had laying around, rounded the corners, prime/paint and cleared it.
You have to drill three holes (forgot the 3rd hole in pics but it's right above the bottom screw). 2 are for the hvac screws and 1 for the "positioning" nipple on the unit.
I used velcro to secure it, double sided tape would be a b!tch to remove so I stayed away from that. I have a 4.3" gps but it's to big and would prob annoy the dude riding shotgun so I used my 3".

Thats a pic i was going to upload earlier this week but we had no power..You can kind of see the chunk of tree above my rear window/top left that almost fell on the car... The little branch coming out of the side of the big parallel one helped keep it from falling on my car..

But yeah, that what it looks like now....

Where it broke
