I've been looking online for days now trying to find chrome bumper trim. I've been on ebay and countless auto part websites and I can't find them anywhere.

'01 LS sport

Any reliable leads?

max at 5 star ford, now chapman ford or something, or just paint them, most on here will agree that the ls looks better without those chrome strips

OK I am at a loss here. I thought the sports didn't have chrome strips?

^ Your right I think the OP has some conflicting information. I thought in his other thread that he said he had the sport with no chrome trim just as he did now. If so why would he be looking for the trim? Even if he has the sport wouldn't he need the non sport bumper to install the chrome trim anyways. (which is ass-backwards anyways haha)

ORR Maybe we're assuming hes looking for the ugly trim off the non-sport bumpers. OP what trim are you exactly searching for?

i believe....someone on here has a sport with chrome trim btw.

Here we go again.....

In 2002 there was an array called the Sport Premium. It had all the sport stuff EXCEPT it had the chrome strips on the bumpers, basket-weave seat inserts, a Lincoln Star on the upper seat back and the non-SST shifter.

Yes, I have a sport bumper, and no I don't have chrome trim...hence the reason why I was looking for someone who sells it. I figured they sold a sport or universal trim much like the pillar chrome trim. I was unaware the they didn't make it for the sport.

Thanks for the info Alax7. I don't have equipment or knowhow to do autobody painting.

Well you don't have to worry about that because your bumper is already the sport. And as far as the Sport Premium, only thing I liked about those are the seats. IMO all the LS seats should have the stars stitched in.

And on another note..what a weird package of options to sell

all i know is that i definitely wouldn't want to make my LS sport look any more like a base model.

im sure if you looked around enough you could find somebody with the same color car that would trade you chrome for paint as most people are trying to get less chrome

What color is your LS? Mine is Autumn Red. I will trade you my bumpers.:D

That must be what my 02 is. (Also had chrome 17 5-spokes, sport sway bar etc). I could care less about not having SST, but I love the seats and the chrome bumper trim works on my car (silver). I agree that some colors look much better without it, but not all chrome trimmed bumpers are ugly.

I want to see these seats.

Forgive cell phone quality... and any dirt/ pollen... the outside got cleaned this weekend but couldn't get to the inside.

Ford should have painted the stars black, so they'd stand out more. It would look much better, not saying your seats don't look good.

Wow my car must have been a sport premium also based on what was said here. Mine was an '02 with chrome trim bumpers, chrome 17" 5 spoke wheels, basket weave seats and Lincoln emblems in seat backs and my interior color was a cream color...But my car was originally a V6?! Was that an option for V6 also? And if so does that mean I have the better suspension and sway bars too?

so im gonna post this here cuz I cant find anything about it see im like a lot of guys on here that alax7 is talking about bye bye chrome but i need to know some info so i heard you have to take the bumpers off to take the chrome moldings off will i have to take the bumpers off again to put them back on?
