I did some,well...allot of searching and found nothing.
I was wondering if there is any way to hookup the Ray's Switch to let the rear vent first then the front. Right now it is opposite of that.

I really want it to do as follows: Rear drop,Front drop. Front lift, rear lift.
I doubt that much is not possible but was thinking maybe the first mentioned was. Anyone know anything about this?
Picky....I know. But its my car :)

Im no expert, but I dont think this can be done without extensive wiring and an EXACT understanding of which wires are for what.

I have the Ray's Switch, forgot to mention that. But I lost my instructions on the wiring. I thought maybe if I found that,it would help.

No. That is done in the air ride module so basicly you would have to reflash its chip to flip the vent order around.

So here is a stupid questin, why for u care 2 due dat?

Ah ok. Thanks for teh helpingness.

Well I wanna do it for a couple reasons. I have always been into the whole lower everything scene and this is the first vehicle that is on air. When I go to shows and people lay their ride out they always do the rear first then the front. An in reverse order when airing it up. I've always liked that. Second reason may ruffle some people's feathers, I wanna throw some sparks! Even for a short while is ok with me! I have some heavy metal around my house and I wanna drag it. I figured if I canget the rear ro drop first then I would be able to drag, evenfor a little bit and throw some sparks down the road as hit the switch to lift the car bak up.

So thats why I for care to do that. :)

Could always lower it, have it go up and then shut the system off before it airs the rears. Then you can "throw sparks" which on a Mark would be the tail pipes..... I try hard not to scrape mine.

I would like to be rolling when I do it. I have some old trailer balls I want to mount somewhere,of course behind and far away from the gas tank. Do not want boom.
...meh...figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.
Thanks for the 411 on the computer thing

Ya know it wouldn't be that hard to do. Would need a switch and a button. The switch would allow you to turn the air ride off from the drivers seat. Basically an in-line switch to go with the trunk mount switch. After you turn the air ride off then you can push the button. The button would supply power to the rear solenoids to vent the bags. That would allow you to drop down just enough to scrape or lower as the ball wears. Then you can switch it back on and the car should lift itself back up.

It doesn't vent the front first, it opens them all at once. Its just the weight of the engine pushes the front down faster then the rear. Mine seems to drop somewhat even because I have the big vent, but the front is still faster. As for the raising I don't think there is anything you can do. If you just want to drop the rear to drag you might be able to install 2 switches (one front, one rear) but I don't know how that will work with the lifting...

I am gonna have to call BS on that there. Which is unusual cause teh chicken sammich is never wrong. :(
I have watched the white car vent thousands of times and watched the grey car vent IDK how many times as I have leveled them or dropped them for friends or just was playing with the system.

Its always the same. Both front bags vent.... drivers side vents for a split second longer then I hear the solenoids close THEN a split second latter the rears click open.
I have even (for chits and giggles) let the front vent and then turned the air ride off to make the car have that old hot rod raked look.

you guys are comparing two different things.

Dont matter. All switches "trick" the computer into thinking the sensors are at a different level then they are. The computer still controls the actual venting and its set up to do the front then the rear. With no mods the cars system vents front then rear.

This is easy for anyone with working air to see for themselves. Let the car get up to ride height, shut it off, close the door, stand by the back of the car. You will hear a click up front and the nose will drop, then you will hear a click again up front (closing the front vents) at the same time you will hear a click at the rear and then the tail will drop.

I can get a vid of mine (if this is still unsolved when I get home if a few days or so) mine opens all the vents at once. There is a distinct click then filling when it switches from front to rear, but not during the drop
