exhaust vid

Sounds quiet. Need to move the camera back some to get an idea of how the car barks. I would have thought it would be much louder then that.

do you feel a difference with the muffler delete. My friend had a 97 LSC and did a muffler delete and lost to his friends Eclipse that he normally beats. Didnt think it would make a difference like that.

just turn up your volume
Ahhhh, much louder!

Its so hard to judge an exhaust through computer speakers even though they are THX Klipsch system.

I like the sound overall, not as raspy as I had thought it would be.

As to the power loss from LincolnRedDevil, that is unusual. On my grey 98 I was very dissapointed with its power, more so coming from a blown Mark. After switching ONLY the exhaust by deleting the third cat and installing Flowbastards I was amazed how much faster the car was.

When I got both cars on the way home Sapper was driving the one with exhaust and the grey car was still box stock. We came out of a corner at the same speed and he nailed it a split second after I did. Damn car walked right around me like I was at only 3/4 throttle. Pulling the exhaust off the black car and putting it on the grey car flipped the edge around and the grey car will now walk the black car.

Exhaust makes a big difference in these cars.

Was this vid done in the winter months? The reason I ask is all the smoke coming from under the engine bay as it was rev'd up and after during idle.

nah it was taken like 2 days ago. the car has sat for a month or so. tranny pan gasket went and some line is leaking too so it drips on the passenger side cat.

i noticed a huge difference also. plus normal throttle it sounds just good, at WOT it is like a bat out of hell i raced my buddies 89 probe gt turbo(32lb boost monster) and of course he raped me but he said that it scared the :q:q:q:q out of him(he never heard me go WOT before)

it was the strangest thing. He raced my friend with his eclipse and I was sure he would beat him again. and he lost, considerably. Him and I ran it and we usually were right alongside one anothr but I was pulling on him this time. Didnt think the muffler delete would have that kind of effect, lol a reason why mine r still on my car.

Honestly there's no way a muffler delete should cause that. If anything you should gain from the weight loss and backpressure reduction. Only way to really hurt your performance is by deleting the 3rd cat and not adding a crossover pipe to replace it(makes you lose all exhaust scavenging) or doing something stupid like going 3.5 inch duals which causes you to lose your exhaust velocity.
