Hey guys don't know how much you care to see this but this is a video I took today of my car. It's a complete workaround, starting car, exhaust, engine bay and showing how I set up the switches to control the AC and open and close the DCC solenoid valve for heat or AC. Try not to make too much fun of it. :D

Very nice. No revving though? lol

Car looks great and has a nice idle.

Oh well sorry I will just have to do the link. Unless somebody can tell me how to embed on here. Might be bc I'm doing it from my phone.

sweet as hell.

only thing is its a gm powerplant but gotta respect the work that went into this and it looks very well done.

If the gauges were stock you really could not tell it didnt belong except for someone who knows the ls.

Thanks man. Sorry I didn't get any revving. Yea you wouldn't believe the attention this thing gets. The look on peoples faces when I start it is priceless.

Very Nice!! Really shouldve put your foot on the gas at least once for us man!!:p

Thanks guys. I have always loved the LS and wanted a reliable, proven powertrain that can make easy power and handle a ridiculous amount of abuse. I'm not one of those only Ford or only Chevy guys. This car is definitely the best of both worlds whether you like GM or not.

dude, bottom line, I'm pretty sure you have one of the top 5 LS i have ever seen.

Can someone explain to me what was done here? It seems like a big deal, but I am completely lost. What are the switches for & was there a motor swap or something?

Ok, this car has a complete engine and transmission swap out of a '02 Trans Am WS6. It's the only one like it (correct me if I'm wrong guys)

The switches were something that was brought up in another thread of mine recently. The switch near the shifter, in place of the factory traction control button, turns on the AC compressor and fan, while the other switch that's hidden inside the center console opens and closes the factory DCC solenoid under the hood that lets coolant into the heater core. This was something we were talking about before and I went ahead and wired up the switch for the solenoid today and included it in the video. Hope this clears things up for you.

Love it - and I don't give a rat's ass what's under the hood. That's the way the LS SHOULD have come! :Beer

Yes! I couldn't agree with you more! That engine looks like it belongs in there. The engine bay looks cleaner and like it has more room with the LS1 in it LOL

looks greats, sounds like an animal!

I'm sure I could... Oh yea I forgot to mention it has an LSD out of a '03 Cobra in it too! That definitely helps.

amazing.

The vehicle is damn near the way it should have came off the line but with a 4.6 modular instead.

The LSE version of the ls should have at least came with that option.
