Outside your house, right now
I keep warping front disks and I'm looking at my options. I've been told to get a "drilled and slotted" set. I'm considering the EBC USR7026. Thing is, they're only slotted.
Does this make them hotter, cooler, no difference?
I'm not looking for performance gains, just more efficient cooling.
You can see the part I'm considering at http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EBC-USR7026/

IF you had to choose between the two. get the drilled over just slotted
And you base this on what? Experience?

OP, slotted is prefered. Drilled is much more prone to cracking. Ask me how I know this.

he is correct :)

Just ordered some rotors from brakeperformance.com, talked to several mustang guys here locally and they really like the slotted and dimpled rotors.

Pretty cheap considering and have a lifetime warranty against warping and cracking. I know one guy has already sent his back for warping issues 2yrs after the original purchase and they replaced them no questions asked.

I should have mine Wednesday and I'll put them through the test :)

guess the dyslexia got me again, im always getting :q:q:q:q backwards. i thought the drilled ones were the ones that cooled better and weren't as likely to break. its obvious to me that i was indeed wrong.

Crap dude, forgot to tell you that car has the blue high temp brake fluid in it from Apex. Should you need to add fluid you should get more Apex fluid. I think when Frog told me to get it he said something about not mixing it with regular crap.
