I can see my Mark being towed like this?!

That :q:q:q:q:q:q:q should be fired if he cant respect peoples property.

That looks like Chicago. Glad someone got it on tape though. And Not only is he ruining the vette but he's putting people in danger towing like that on a highway.

I had a 63 VW Beetle and I got popped for no registration. When they called the tow truck they couldn't tow me cause I had no bumpers. I told the cop why the hell did you call these guys when the tow company I work for is on your list

Cops aren't paid to think around me

When I traded my Vette on my Audi at the dealer I worked its Magnasteer locked up so we had to have it towed to the Chevy dealer. They came out with a standard tow truck. I told the driver he needed a flat bed but he told me hes been doing towing for over 30 years and knows what he is doing. Whatever. He picked the car up from the tail and the nose was less then an inch off the ground. As soon as he hit our driveway the lower half of the nose got riped off.
I couldnt help but go up to the ass hat and ask "would it have been easier to get the flat bed or do you like paying $3000 to fix cars you tow?" Dumb ass.

another example of "what did you learn jackass?"

that tow was courtesy of the Illinois taxpayer so the moron is the owner of the vette who should have called his own tow company...that tow trucks only responsibilty is to clear the hazard from the road... now there should have been a one of Chicago's finest or a Illinois state trooper giving assistance to the tow driver but in a metropolitian area of 10 million people that is not on the top of their priority list.

Well, the tow truck driver is responsible regardless who is towing. My best friend does towing, repo'n and recovery so if that were him, he would be replacing front and rear bumpers on that vette! There is a right way and a wrong way of doing things and this was dead wrong!!

in most scenarios yes but not this one ...the bottom line is the guy driving the vette is the one who should know better.

WHAT A :q:q:q IDIOT!

Who do you blame? The owner for not standing up and saying "Get me a flatbed" or the DUMB ASS driver?

As for me.My ass ain't getting out of the car unless they bring me a flatbed.

this is probably a tow away zone if you dont get it out of there
right away the city will make sure its gone before rush hour

if you rewatch the video that vette was turned around headed against the flow of traffic...that incident took place on the "Dan Ryan" which is one dangereous stretch of interstate going through the heart of Chicago...that tow truck driver was doing the best he could in the enviroment he was in...I am with KBR my ass aint coming out of my seat until a flat bed comes with a escort or they tell me I am under arrest (actually have done that in a slightly different situation lol the police sure didn't like that one but doing that saved my ass in court)...my opinion would be the owner of the vette was probably done a favor by having his car wrecked for him because he probably would have wrecked it himself and hurt someone in the process.

The cops would sure have a hell of a time with me because I also ain't going nowhere with out my wheelchair. They wouldn't want to try to pick up my 230 pound ass. :D

And I agree ratdog the owner probably would have caused even more damage. He probably spun it in the first place which is why the vette was facing the other way.
