Had these pics hanging around thought I would post so others can see what this really looks like. This is Meziere #346S "S" for street with built in idler. I didn't take pics while pulling and install probably from my hands being covered in antifreeze.

Here is the close up front shoot of pump

Here is the back shoot of pump and the billet impeller. Here you can see the 4 bolt holes that hold pump on engine.

Here you can see O ring on pump and how it plugs right into the engine.

Here is the pump mounted on engine and belt on. The mounting of this is one of the easiest mods ever. I don't have any pics of the wiring sorry.

So notice and power improvements? Better cooling?

I know I got at least 10-15hp from the stickers I just put on car! I can really feel it with my butt-o-meter.:D
But really ,yes it takes some HP to pump fluid thru engine and rad. Do I know the real # no. I know it has to be some though.

I will be installing mine in a couple of weeks...the stickers are awesome...who did you buy your pump from?

Ebay $126 used.

nice score...I looked at them on ebay but could not find any used...wound up buying mine from http://www.brenspeed.com/ ...what mix are you using for the coolant? the trans cooler bypass how exactly is that cooling the trans fluid without going through the radiator...is it strictly air cooled? pardon me if this seems like a ignorant question but as I recall the transcooler on my car is in addition to the radiator cooler....

Just regular green 50/50. I live in New England and need -32 coolant min. Trans fluid cooler tubes running into the rad actully are surounded by coolant. Now what temp is your coolant. Its 190-200. So by by-passing the rad cooler i'm not sending my trans fluid thru a 200 degree bath. I have a cooler half this size in my AOD street stang with a 10 converter and the fluid never get over 180 in traffic. The 40K cooler is huge!!!

Heh, I've got one sitting on the shelf along with about 10 other people I know that installed them on Mod motors and went straight back to their regular Mech pump and sold them soon after.

Got to change the t-stat location .... Forget it
Next to no HP gain .... Forget it
pulley bearing fail .... Forget it
Battery somewhat low / old, try to start the car .... Forget it
another motor on an anemic ford charging system .... Forget it

For $500, on a strictly strip car, I would seriously consider it. But a street car it was the worse.

But the El Ess Juan guys have no probs. I've helped install several with no probs.

Get the Evans head cooling mod and be done with it. That mod have been proven a few thousand times over any benefits from a electric water pump.

Just my .02

I hear yeah mine is only to go to track. Plus my car not a DD its my toy car.

Mine is not a DD either it is a pleasure/toy vehicle. The days of these cars being DD are coming to an end one day and one owner at a time.
