Did it on 'em.

Too many to count in California.
I've seen 'em mostly stock , or with huge ugly rims and way too much chrome for my taste.
I've yet to see one lowered though. I'm always hoping to see one so I can truly see what they look like when they're lowered..

for some reason i never fail to see at least a couple when i drive by bad neighborhoods in new jersey

here in PA where i go to school i see a couple now and then, but theyre usually Gen Is driven by older women.

Other than that, I saw one nicely modded LS a while back, i honked at him, but i got no love back :(

Isnt it depressing when you see a LS that is all beat to hell and looks like sh!t. Just today i stopped at a light next to a black 1st gen. Looked like complete dog a$$, tint all bubbling. I was embarrased to be sitting next to them.

I hate that.

tint is even very expensive....for $250 most of my local shops will tear off any old film
and installed brand new 20% onyx...the kind that doesnt fade to purple or bubble if installed correctly.

wow $250?!

i have a shop around me that does the full car for $99, and they guarantee their work for a certain amount of time, cant remember how long. Havent had to use it yet.

For that cheap it must be crappy tint.

The $250 quote is for quality tint with warranty.

The type of film matters not only in darkness but also heat reduction.

no sir, as good a quality as ive seen. All my cars, and my step dads have been done there. and more than once, as we need to take off the tint to pass inspection.

what film??

give me the brand.

My shop uses madico onyx.

ill have to get back to you on that. I've actually never cared to ask what brand of tint they use :p

but in 5+ years i've never had a problem with their tint.

brand matters.

Its not about having a problem but like i said the higher quality tints can block out 50% to 90% of heat and with our leather interiors that is a big deal for keeping the leather in pristine condition.

You can get a dark tint for cheap but it wont block out any heat just light.

I see them all the time but I remember seeing one that had some nice mods, & not those corny autozone mods, parked outside a store...anyone know if lvc has business cards? I remember thinking that if I had one I would of left one on his windshield.

Something like this.:D Joey made them up for me to handout at Hot Import Nights Indy. I keep them in the LS and my other cars to handout to LSes I see around. Good way to get the word out to other owners.

I use to see a lot of LSes in my area. But as the year have past. I see fewer and fewer. I have notice. That ones I do see have younger drivers. More of them have aftermarket wheels too.

Two fiddy is a high price. I paid 300 for removal of old tint, 20% new on front 5 on rear, 20% strip, vinyled the fogs, and half the deposit for my reverse lights. And they also used the madico film

I got mine done for $200 and it included front strip all four doors and rear.

$250 is what the place usually charges to other people.
