Center Console Change Out

Rook question... I want the woodgrain steering wheel on my 02. Just wait and find one in the junkyard...or how is that done? I have the dark charcoal and thats alot harder to find than the lighter colored interiors.

And some beef these cupholders (02) are the absolute worst cupholders I've ever experienced lol. For one cup they're great, but anything more than a 12oz can and a med drink is just over the designs limit.
 
Lol it can handle the big gulp...but thats it. It just bothers me how poorly designed they are. I usually always have passengers and they have to hold onto their drinks. Not something that should be happening in a Lincoln imo lol

you could always buy a gen II with the real cupholders.
 
^ My god why didn't I think of that? Orr I could be perfectly content with my 02 LSE and just complain about the stupid cupholders lol
 
I dont even use mine i dont allow drinks in the car.

I have coins in one of them and an airfreshener in the other.
 
^ Well your one of the select few who doesn't get thirsty while they drive lol. I paid for my car to use it so thats what I do..use it to its full potential.

I'm getting the impression you don't have people besides yourself in your car anyways.
 
Im just paranoid about spilling something.

Only if i go on a long trip ill usually keep a monster in there. most the time i drive myself but i have had a full car load many times.

Previous owner kept the interior stain free. Im also ocd.
 
My job dictates me to get pretty dirty so I've taught myself be okay with the small messes I can clean up. I'm a professional roofer so on occasions I find myself very dirty. But I've got some good friends who work at a local auto detailing center and get great deals on shampooing and 3m conditioning. I've already had this LSE 3m"ed" with oxy guard. Repels water and stains.

Previous owner kept my car very very clean but in my defense I have an all black interior which really helps against dirt/stains. I really disliked the lighter interior color on my previous LS.

A full car load?....how many was that? I could barely fit anyone in mine & the people in the back complain that they don't fit. Oh well as long as I'm good I could care less.:D

LOL...yeah them backseats are tiny.

but if i wanted to chauffer people around i would have bought a towncar.

What color is yours? I will give you my old one. Just cover the shipping. See concole picture for color.
 
My 2000 has the meduim graphite grey. The bottom one is the one I would give you. Comes with the same arm rest.

Just get an add a fuse and long enough wires to reach the console.

Its very simple neg to neg (ground) and pos to pos.
 
actually i have no plug for it... so would i have to get the wiring plug from an 02 so then i can hard wire it into somewhere or is there another way without the harness for the outlet
