Back in the game. My LSE thread

I actually have one of those kerosene heaters. Didn't even think about putting scent in it! Just never use it because its an older one and it smokes like a btch sometimes.

It would take care of the smoke too.. I guess it cleans the wick and crap.. I mean it doesn't do much in a FI type one like I have except give the byproduct a smell.. But for the second, it does a lot.. I'll see if I can find what I bought..

Haha no way that is awesome! I'll be picking up some kerosene and scent tomorrow for sure!

And on a different subject. Were the 02 LS's ever produced with a DVD navigation?

I literally just e-mailed that seller asking if I could buy just the piping and the couplers. He replied $60 shipped for that and he has black couplers. Seemed like the cheapest option because the piping already has the hook ups

And yeah I have the Alpine unit already so I guess I'll have to go aftermarket for DVD

I have a flip up Clarion..

I really like the Sony SMJ? put in his.. Beautiful!

Nice looks good man. I really want a double-din dvd player. Don't need navigation or anything so that helps on lowering the price for a screen.

No they werent but somebody swapped the whole system into his 2000.

it aint that bad.

But i wouldint spend money to upgrade to it....i just use it since i already had it.

^ One of the ones I was seriously considering. But Idk I have honestly never ever bought anything but Alpine. Sound quality is the absolute best. I have a single din alpine cd player for sale actually, alpine amp and JL subwoofers

Disagree fully. Alpine head-units put out the best sound quality for the price no matter what price range. Take any combination of amplifiers, speakers, and speakers and the Alpine head-unit will sound the best hands down. Its all about quality IMO.

Clarion left a bad taste in my mouth a long tie ago:

I had one of their first generation AutoPC units. Nice little unit, ahead of it's time. Then, when the 2nd generation came out, I bought one of those for the sole reason that it was Sirius ready (this was before Sirius bought out XM).

It was advertised as Sirius ready, simple plug and play. What I later found out was their idea of Sirius ready at the time was nothing more than an AUX 1/8th inch audio jack where you could plug the output of a stand-alone Sirius tuner into.

Hell, the first gen Auto PC could have done that too, and it wasn't advertised as "Sirius ready".

As such, I don't care how "good" their units may be. I'll never give them another penny. Be it for a head unit, a speaker, amp, whatever.

Went out and took some more pictures today. It was 44 degrees here today so I got the chance to wax it for the first time. Still needs tint real bad.
