Half ass work really pisses me off!

You always seem to have your hands in some sort of project Bill... good work man. Extremely nice of you to help out your friend like that.

Oh and to whoever said things like this are done by people in "the mustang crowd" uhhh... it happens in every crowd. It's not us, it's the half-a$$ so-called hacks that call themselves "mechanics" that take advantage of the folks that dont posess the knowledge/skillset to work on their own vehicles.

Yeah, the LCA refused to go back in. Figured what was needed was to get a better angle on things. Somehow this happened.

I been working on that Cobra again today. For those of you that dont remember the guy had an Eaton swap done and then brought it to me to fix it all. Car had driveability issues, idle issues, belt squealed like crazy and the cooling system was half assed. I have fixed all that now and the owner is as happy as can be! Car starts right away and idles smooth, has way more power, no more squeel and the coling system is done right. I also added a Steeda oil seperator.

What all had to be done under the hood Bill?
Change the crossover tube to 03/04 style, custom make thermostat bypass hose, remove chitty home-made tensioner that was on a shaft 1/8" too small, add back tensioner bracket and new style pulley, align the alt and tensioner properly to eliminate belt squeel, properly hook up IAC, remove worthless big oval throttle body and replace hacked upper plenum, give the crankcase some vac again and add Steeda oil seperator, add aluminum expansion tank, relocate intercooler res tank to proper position, relocate knock senors, fix throttle cable throw..... I think that was about it.

He is thrilled to death now telling me the car starts and idles perfect and has much more mid range punch and builds more boost. :)
