1st 9.72 2nd 9.78 3rd 9.75 on 91 octane
4th 9.58 5th 9.49 6th 9.48 on mix of 2 gallons of 91 and 2 gallons of 100
Best 60' of 2.12 on street tire

Are you stock?

I've been wanting to hit the 1/8 track @ Homestead Speedway. I went last weekend w/a buddy of mine in the Mark VIII. He was racing his 6.2L GTO.
I wanted to take it out on the track but between my fvcked up front suspension, my 2 bad motor mounts & the ORIGINAL spark plug wires still in my car? I had no choice but to sit it out. :(

Ive seen issues lately with motor mounts. I guess with mine being supercharged I should invest in some good one's. Supercoupe sells some solid mounts anybody know if there any good ? Or does anybody know if there are any other better mounts out there ? PS what did that GTO run ? Would the mounts in the 97 I am parting fit your 93 Mark ?

My 93 and my 94 DD that were stock both ran better on 91 octane than they did on 93 octane and got better mileage. My current supercharged 93 like 93 octane + octane booster.
 
Stock just the exhaust its a crappy track prep they only put down vht before the high horsepower ex. Class comes up so yeah a 2.12 60' on street tire spinning once is hell of a launch for street tires

Is yours tuned to optimize on premium fuel. My past stock marks ran better on the middle grade ?
 
Nope not tuned or anything I just mixed 2 gallons of 91 and 2 gallons of 100 here in Cali low and mid grade suck arse in my cars and crappy additives in it so the 100 really improved it...... I waited till I had 2 gallons according to the car then I added the 100 and man that stuff smells strong

Not entirely sure i ran a 15.2 and the 1/8 mile time said 9.9 so idk here is a cool calculator site wallacecalculators.com I put my best 9.48 in and MPH and got a 14.6 I think the calculated it at but the marks don't start breathing until then u know at the 500' mark

4.10's take care of that problem.
 
Yeah I know 4.10s pulley j-mod tire wud put me in the low to mid 14s
