i have a 98 lsc and at 45 i have a slight vibration but at 80 it is horrible past 95 it gets less severe. i have had the tires checked and they spin good.....
i have changed the driveshaft to a 93 (read bout that one :D ) and had it balanced. Can a mount (any) do this at the speeds it never gets better.... but idk any help is much appreciated

eh, at 45 or when i'm going up a incline i get a type of shudder. Then when above 75 it starts to get the d/s issue..Is it like a periodic jerking or does it feel like the 2pc d/s feels if you havnt replaced it?

It wouldn't hurt but checking the trans mount wouldn't hurt either. Seems like someone else on here had the same problem or something close and they found out the mount was bad.

You said the tires "spin good", have you had them "balanced"?

Heres what I found to be the cause of my vibration on my 96' WITH a 93' driveshaft. After replacing the rear wheel bearings AND putting a new rear U joint in it the vibration remained

Also is had a mysterious trans fluid leak I could not find?

Well found all the problems in a loose tail shaft housing

Got under with a few extensions and swivel sockets to tighten up the bolts and all went away :dancefool

I had an issue like this and after many things done including balancing the wheels twice it ended up being the wheels. Make sure you go to a real shop that does real balancing. NTW and such claim they do 'high speed balancing' but they do the best they can with the weights on the outside of the tire. Go to a place that will glue weights inside the rim if needed.

Myco is right you need to go to a good shop but
One weight is not better than the other in terms of
balance

Actually I've found that the hammer on type weights don't do very well, I always have wheel vibration with those, I switched to the static weights that are glued center rim and I've had no problems since

Hmmm, cause I just had my new tire fiasco at Pep Boys and I do get quite a vibration at higher speeds :(
