Nice. I am currently testing out some new adhesive I bought. A member on here used it and said it was pretty strong. The epoxy I used wont come off by itself, but since it's attaching to chrome, with some little/medium force it might. When I got mine back from the shop, one epoxy part came up. I just used super glue to hold it back down though, all good so far.
I was also thinking that the back where the mesh will attach could be sanded down until you hit the plastic.
Oh and this other glue is like super glue but when you spray this spray on it, it hardens in a second. It adheres to the chrome maybe 3 time better than the epoxy did. So you could wrap the mesh with epoxy where it will touch the grille and then glue the epoxy down to the chrome with the instant glue. You put some of the spray on the surface, the glue on the other, and when you press the two together, it dries in a second. I got it today and was testing out, looks like it would work pretty good.
here's the link for the glue.

if you have or know of really strong stuff to bond the mesh to the grille, let me know.
The cdc mesh is cut diagonally, thats how I did mine as well. If I cut from side to side at a 45 degree angle, the piece that comes out is big enough for an lse lower mesh, not sure about sports bumper, and also for a grille piece. So it's 20 for a 2 pieces big enough for top and bottom. If you want extra pieces, you can add for 5 a piece.
I can measure how big the sports bumper opening is and let you know if you want to do a bottom piece. I can also cut you one at a normal angle, not diagonally like the cdc grille.
