I'm building a custom intake. I just wanted to know what you guys used for the normal fittings.. I plan on the intake being aluminum..

What are you going to do with the MAF?

Correct me if I'm wrong but all I need is a maf adapter for the filter and the other end will slide on the tube.. I plan on extending the harness and moving it.. the intercooler and ice box will sit where the stock filter is now.. at least that's the plan..

true, the first gens are much simpler since the maf housing can un bolted from the air box and can be bolted up to what ever you want to use for a filter adapter
