terrible rattle

i cannot take this noise anymore my third brake light rattles like hell when the bass hits and its soo annoying to hear constantly. not to mention if your in the back seat it sounds 10xs worse. what can i do to stop this damn rattle ?

take it out, buy an LSE spoiler with the third brake light in it and your good to go

ummmm im not sure look it up on you local laws homepage, i would just google it....

my wifes aunt is a cop and she said your car leagally only has to have one brake lamp, now thats for my area, it will also warrant getting pulled over for em to look at other :q:q:q:q, but i done think you need a third

I think the most common law is that if the car came with it then it has to have it functioning.

I know here however, the law states only two lights need to be functioning. But police can always go above and beyond, and by getting pulled over can get you for other things such as dark tint/loud exhuast.

Both stock OEM LSE spoilers (02 only /04-05) don't have a brake light in them. The only spoilers with them are Lincoln accessory spoilers like this one...

one came into my dealerships quick lube the other day it had a third light in the spoiler, idk maybe it was aftermarket

The first one is still an official OEM Lincoln accessory, it just isn't an LSE spoiler that came from the factory.

I would just remove the third brake light cover, and line it with dynamat. Then put a foam tube type material around where it contacts the window.

Yea that is not an official Lincoln spoiler. I have an official one and it doesn't sit that high up off the trunk and it doesn't have that middle support. Only supports on the sides.

Stand off spoilers on the LS make it look like a Maxima or something.

Not a fan of the non-subtle ones.
