Color matched the rear surround (pics)

I had the rear surround color matched last week and wanted to share a few pictures. Loving the new look.


Here is a picture of the car about month after I bought it. Tint was the only thing I had done to it. It went through a big transformation.

I don't mind chrome in general, but the surround looks out of place unpainted on a Lincoln LS. Never liked it.

That looks pretty awesome on your car. I think since the surrounds on mine are the only chrome that's on it and the car is black, that I may leave mine as is.

Once I have them painted and installed. I will put my McLaren grille back on. I will just have to paint the headlight housing then.

Rollin, do you have a Gen 2 LSE grill handy? Trying to visualize your car without all the chrome on it and I think the LSE grill would really spice up the front end on the car.

I have a photoshop picture someone did on the rear surround and bumper painted to match. Then an old pictures of the LS with the McLaren grille on.
