well, the last thread a posted is gone so ill do cliff notes:

im new
my girlfriend wrecked my LS
it looks like it needs a new grill bumper and headlights(s)
any suggestions for any of this in aftermarket?
2004 LSE, 61k miles V-8

picture is before the wreck, but even after i was ver impressed with the car. It is perfectly drivable, the SUV she hit, needed to be towed

not really a whole lot of aftermarket parts are available for this car, welcome and sorry your start here has to be with such bad luck

Also, my user name should be "ChristianJS", not "hristianJS" if someone could fix that.

Also i have noticed there is not a lot of aftermarket for these cars but i still want it to look good.
like the grill, i want to get a black one, plan on powder coating the stock rims black, tint of course.

any suggestions?

what about this chip? http://www.gforcechips.com/lincolnls.aspx

anyone heard of it?

OMG you CAN'T paint your factory gen2 LSE wheels! They are rare and too beautiful to paint.

Your car may have had the best of what's available for the LS: LSE grill, LSE bumper... did you have factory HID's? If not, get them and just replace what you have.

That is one nice looking LSE. (except for the stripe)

Go to www.tascaparts.com. You can get the bumper and components for a little over $500 dollars. Check around on ebay for the bumper too. But check Tasca for parts. They are cheaper than any other online dealer that I've seen.

i called tasca and the guy in parts didn't have any idea what i was talking about, put me on hold for like 5 minutes and then hung up on me

That chip doesn't work. Get an SCT tuner device and a custom tune or dyno tune that will get you real results and not damage your car.

thats why ya never let the women drive the ls

Well, i have another baby that i drive. :)

2/4 drop
22s wheels
Super chipped
K&N
Dumped exhaust be means of electric cut out.
Grill swapped to color matching.
debadged
Painted badging up front.
One fast and good looking Dodge.

why not just let the insurance take care of it

I am, just looking to see if i could get the black grill or better looking bumper (which it looks like i have the nice one)

I'm selling some headlights!

I think the wheels would look great powder coated, I have the HIDs,

Thats what i was thinking.

so what exactly is wrong with the headlights?

they are scratched with the other cars paint, Ins will want a new one

Good luck. Might as well pay a visit to your dealer.

Also, those don't look like OEM HIDs.

They may not be, but they look good so my fiance (whos car it is) doesnt care about the HIDs, truthfully, not a real big fan of spending that much money on lights.

If you had full insurance on it, I would just let the body shop deal with it.

Hopefully that dodge has the Hemi in it..

Of course, sonofab!tch is pretty fast for a 1/2 ton truck. Its faster than the LS ;-)

My friend has a 2004 Dodge 2wd SLT with the HEMI. Dual exhaust and use to have 22s then he bent one.. I think he has 20s now.. Lowered and all black with chrome wheels.. It friken moves..

If its faster than the LS, it cant be by much. A few basic things on the LS and it would move damn fast. Just my .02 but we never raced so I don't know what the outcome would have been..

Why do you need new headlights over a few scratches? Wetsand to like new condition, unless you really want to drop a pretty penny for new ones

What this guy said... Your car looks pretty good already - just restore it.

And yes, I hope that wreck whipped that awful pinstripe off.

Also, where is "Bryan"?

I have a suggestion. You give that chrome bumper trim piece to andrizzle. He could use a new one
