Has anyone here had any direct experience with the Stop-Tech 'Big Brakes Kit'? (14" front and 12.75" rear) Any feedback appreciated!

They're very expensive and shorten the stopping distance by something like 8 feet over stock. They sure look good, though! The wheels also have to be large enough to clear the calipers.

I wonder if you would be better off pulling of the brakes of a jag S-Type R and fitting them to the LS. I think you need 18" wheels with proper backspacing to fit those. I'm just speculating.

The big brake kit you need 18" or larger wheels, you can get about the same braking distance with a upgrade in pads and SS lines.

QuikLS has them installed, but he also does track where it does pay off.

02V8Sport tried going that route, but he stopped the project due to the knuckles on the STR Jaguar being different.
