transmission question

On my mark when I drive around town or on the highway at a steady speed (not accelerating) the transmission will on occation drop to second gear for a second or 2 then back to 3rd or 4th. I was on the highway yesterday going around 75mph in OD then it dropped to second then it went back to 4th.
I know I'm not an active member but any help wouldbe appreciated.

I know I'm not a transmission specialist, but I don't have the time to explain the problem in more detail to people who only visit these forums when they have car problems and want answers.

I don't expect to get a detailed breakdown of the problem. Obviously something is not right. Just need to be pointed in the right direction. And yes I do agree I should be more of an active member instead of only comming here when I have a problem. Again any info would be of help.

+2 that sounds like it, they had a problem with alot of them getting water inside and overtime fukking the whole thing up to the trans thinks you manually downshifted the car.

Well ever since I posted my question, the transmission hasn't downshifted by itself again. So I am going to wait till I bring my car up to my dad for winter storage to have it checked.
