The new owner picked it up Friday. Great guy. His name is Sherman and hes a huge marauder enthusiast, he has 4.

I think anyone who is a Marauder enthusiast will definitely take good care of a Mark. But one question about the Marauder... Is the Marauder to the P71 what the Impala was to the 9C1 Caprice? At least in the world of performance.

I agree. And if I remember correctly (I don't know a lot about the Marauders, admittedly) the Marauder was a completely different animal. Instead of a 239hp SOHC 4.6L, it had a 302hp DOHC 4.6L V-8. I think that was the biggest drivetrain difference. The suspension may have been beefed a little, and it had unique wheels, and super cool polished stainless steel slant-cut rolled tip exhaust extensions. And it had a unique interior with buckets, console, floor shifter, and extra gauges in the center console.
 
i think it was a good idea getting rid of it..It was unique but def not my cup of tea..
 
That all happened pretty quick. The buying it, restoring it and selling it!!! All of it went pretty quick!!! That was the third one I have ever seen. The other two were on ebay and one of them is on there right now for like ten grand with 30,???k on the dial. The first one was a few months back and it had low mileage also but they wanted something like twenty grand for it!!! I wonder exactly how many are left out there in running condition!!!

actually he told me he plans to bring it to carlisle next year so we all should see it again.
