Got a little problem

So some of you know that I just bought the stainless works headers, I was so excited. Other have have been reading the "I want this ls!" thread and saw that the guy who built the turbo on the v6 joined lvc and needs an LS to do another build. Well he's in my area so I'm thinking of doing it,BUT, he told me if the headers were long tube headers then I can't use them, SO, I think I just bought headers and can't use them. I could just bail on the turbo, but it's a great deal he's offering me.

Well yeah, the turbo deal is a great part! The bad part is that it's pointless for me to install the headers now and I just bought them. I really wanted to run headers and see how they performed. Guess i'll have to pass them to someone else.

Oh and things got a little better. I took them to fedex the second they arrived yesterday to ship out to jet hot so they could get coated, I was able to catch them right now with the headers still there, so I saved me some money.

looking at the other thread it looks like the turbo is mounted at the rear of the car. if thats the case then i dont see why you couldnt use the headers.

Since no one has these aftermaket headers, he will be designing the kit with the stock headers. The kits will be made for stock headers so these longtubes wont match up. Maybe he can rig that one up for me after he's done with the general kit.

I hope I dont have to sell them, but I might have to so keep your eyes open.

And bullschmidt, I will be shipping yourl ight out in about 2, maybe 3 hours. RIngs and clear corners are installed, just have to seal them up and wait for them to dry

Yeah, I think I'll do that, but if the turbo will be pushing the engine hard enough what would the point of the headers be?

700 plus shipping, thats how much I paid, but i wont know if I keep them or not for a few weeks. The turbo wont take long to install, he said 3 weeks. I'm going to give him the car in a few days.

I know, I hate my luck sometimes too cause it sometimes come at a bad time. Good appotunity but bad timing, like my wheels. But I can't pass up this turbo offer, just like ai couldn't pass up the wheels on ebay either

I checked out how the price before I bought them to see if it would be worth buying or not. He only informed you how much they were from stainless works, not me, i knew A ago when I checked how much they were, they were in the 700's, mybae like 740. They went up 100 and might keep rising.
