my 2003 lincoln LS is having problems...my right headlight won't turn on and when we checked it it seems like it isn't receiving power...all this happened when i installed my 2 12'' kicker subs. i think its an electrical issue but i dont know how to solve it...i am going to get a capacitor but i dont know if that will help with the head light any advice...and when i plug the passenger headlight to the driver side it works fine so i know its not the headlight..but the wiring

ok, here goes
check for power at the headlight connector. No power then trace the wire back to the next point and check power there, keep checking fuses, relays etc. Never heard of a broken headlight wire, but it could happen.

Good advice. I would only add that it is important to check for a good ground at the headlight connector too.
Yea I replaced the connector and we found out that two wires is not drawing power to the headlight and yes we checked the fuses they are fine..should I just trace the wires and see or replace the whole headlight harness because I have a friend who is selling LS parts and is willing to sell at the stealership they charged $1400

did you check every fuse or just the one/s for the headlight? i would defently check all of them.
IIRC the headlights should have constant power all the time and the computer turns the ground on and off to control the headlight.
also check the relay/s
i would go back and double check all the wires that you touched when doing the amp install, as that is the apparent cause of the issue, (pray that none of the computers where damaged)
i would definitely make sure the the problem is the harness and not something else, as there are many things that it could be.
