Angel eyes (Order #1)

I shipped out my first order of angel eyes mod headlight yesterday. New member, Spencer, bought a LED rings, chrome bulbs and clear turn signals for me to install. They came out great. I also used black rvt sealant instead of the clear silicone for a cleaner finish.

I bought some clear material to show the difference in what I can use and lightwurkz has. For those interested in this, you can either buy some from lightwurkz or use this material, I got it from home depot and it's the plastic cover that goes on the flourescent lamps. The plastic Lightwurkz uses does looks cleaner but this will work alright too, just an alternative.

It took me about 2 days to do the headlights and I shipped on the third day in the morning to allow the sealnt to dry completly. I could've done it in one and shipped out the morning of the second day, but I had school and got the lights late afternoon.

Also, side by side I have to honest man those clear turn signals really look good on your color LS. How much of a pain would it be to open up yours again?

He didn't say but I'll ask him. I say maybe from 15-25.

It would be so much easir in how I sealed them up. I would just use a utility knife to cut the sealent, take the 3 stock srews out and pull apart. It's hard to take them apart in how they come sealed because it has sealant on the inside of the tab and all around so you have to pry it apart. What holds mine together now is the 3 screws and the seam of sealant on top. Nothing in between or inside just in case I ever need to get back in there or people need to get back in there after I do theirs.

Same here.. Grey sealant, led eyes, and tint the corner..

I just don't know if I'll get the time to do it..

I was scared it would but I was very careful and I made sure the screws wouldn't touch the hood so it wouldn't scatch.

Thanks Alex for doing those for me. In my opinion I couldn't have asked anyone else to do such a great job! I love how you made them fill in the openings better than without that mod! Anybody considering this mod for their ls should definately consider having Alex do the install because in my opinion the way he does them is the best I've seen on here. That's why I called him and asked him if he would be willing to do it in the first place. He got them completed quick also! Shipped them about a day and a half later from receiving them. Thanks again Alex!

I believe those clear reflectors were about 15 or so! They sent them to me for free though because they took forever to ship them to me after I bought them on ebay. The chromed bulbs were about 15 also. Pretty cheap for the look I think! Anyway, if that helps anybody.....I'll post up some pics once I get them installed. Doing a bunch of other mods also so maybe after their done.....Like McClaren colormatched grill and license plate trim. Gen 2 front bumper with side skirts are the first I'm doing with tons more soon......

Yes---do the AE job as above and add the HID kit shown around here. I believe the basic parts kit for the HID is about $50.

Oh yeah, I guess I could install hid kits for people if they wanted. My first 2 angel eye headlights have been stock HID so they didn't have the need there It's not hard to do the wiring and whatever else to do the HID kit on a halogen healight, but I'l do it. If I can do it, you can ask, and I'll do it to the headlight.
