Exhaust Installed

When you say resonator delete did u just take it off and run straight pipe, I`m about to do my exhaust too and just reading up on stuff.

Ty Alax. I might just take your parts list and copy it Drizz want to see that vid 1st lol since I have no idea on what to get, just want a nice mellow tone noise nothing over board
 
Maybe when I get off work I can get a quick clip before it's dark.

But yes cut out the resonators and replaced with straight pipe and an x pipe.

For the emblems I dunno, I wasn't going to do flat black. It is going to be high gloss. Black chrome would be cool too
 
Driz, when they mounted the 11225 mufflers, did they mount them vertically (like the OEM's) or horizontally? Just curious as I start to plan my own install.

Not sure what you mean, but the mufflers were mounted normally. But also at slight angles to maximize clearance underneath. As well as for proper tip mounting.

I'm curious as well to hear what it sounds like from the outside and interior..Planning on doing my exhaust this weekend already priced the mufflers and PepBoys has them in stock and cheap lol

I wanna hear an exhaust on an ls in person. I did once (on a blue one) but it sounded like trash imo

when i did my flows, i put them at about a 60-70 degree angle, for some reason it just seem to line up with the bumper cutouts a little better




BTW its Thursday, where is the damn videos, i wanna hear
 
Okay I am uploading a vid to youtube now.

I will have to take an in-car video later today, I ran out of battery on my camera, and filmed some in-car with the window cracked and it distorted the microphone so much you couldn't hear anything lol. So I am gunna go back out after the cam charges and shoot some in-car.

I'll post a new thread with both vids later, upload is taking a while since it is high definition I think.
