93 transmission special?????

I have been reading about the j-mod, and I saw once (can’t find again) that the 93 transmission was special and you had to do different things to it; different drill bits if I’m right. When I was on TCCoA everything that I had read had said 94 and newer.

should I just do it like all the other transmissions or am I missing something?

Nothing different that I know of between the 93 to 97 trannys ... the 98 was the one that got improvements. But then I could be wrong.

Technically all years are different, but can be interchangable.

Maybe you're thinking about your one piece drive shaft. Yes, more bits required for the 93 trans and only two for the 98.
