In my opinion not really unless you want the copper to salvage LOL .. There's a lot of wiring ..

It would be nice to have a complete harness laying around if anything happened. If i part a car out i take EVERYTHING i could use sometime down the road for another project.

Someone said the harness weighs in at 100lbs? That's a lot of copper....

That's the thought I had, but I'm wondering how often you would need an entire harness?
I assume you can splice into the old one, about the only time it would make sense to do the entire thing would be a frame up restoration on something that had either been burned or had a real mouse problem.
One thing I have, though, is time. So maybe in 20 years I pull out that box with the harness in it and make 50 dollars on it.

If you're doing it for the copper value, that's alot of work...but if you have time then you also have time to toss the harness on a small fire and get the coating off...clean copper is worth more
