Black powder coated calipers

500 ish, plus shipping both ways.

w o w, i hope thats with them disassembling are reassembling them, even with still seems high, but then again it does look good, and if your cheap on the pocketbook then the LS is not for you.

Hopefully you wont have any issues with the powder coat and all no sliding or pistons issues

Yea, powder coat will last longer. Also, painting them wont get you as glossy finish as powder coat will, I think. I was amazed at how good the powder coated tips came out so I decided to go through with the calipers.

glossy finish is all about wetsanding and polishing, im gonna paint my calipers white and polish them so dirt comes right off when i hose them down:D

I can get all four of my wheels re-chromed for $500, but there are a ton of places that do coatings around here since it is New England, the land of rust.

Edit : They look premo BTW, thumbs up.

They do look sweet I don't blame ya for getting them done. Can't wait to see pics when you get them and then installed WHAT!

Hey you could have paid me 200ish and I would have gauranteed them for 10 yrs.

hahaha!!!

That sounds like a pretty good deal now that I blew 500 on these.

Hey, I just remembered that there is a power coating place on Stewart/Gray just to east of Woodruff, on the northside of the street.

MAN!!!!! I should've asked around more huh. Thanks for the heads up. I will check that out for future powder coating.

Dam $500 you could have bought new ones for that!

At least the look good.

You can order some from them. Calipers plus the powder coat go a little ubder 800 plus shipping. I didn't want to run into the risk of them not being the same so I bought some from a gen2 and got those done.

Very true, I might have to put that on my sig

Hope not, I didn;t pay all that money to not have it work right,

they look good but god damn....500 bucks....thatll buy me another honda...

Another honda or a dyno tune or new exhuast or a livewire with custom tune or new lowering springs and shocks.

Look at what came in the mail today. If the logo was bigger, they would be perfect! The gloss black powder coat looks sweet. I still dont understand why the logo couldn't be longer. I'm not as bummed about the cost as much, I called another place about a quote. They dont do lettering on them or logos and they charge 320 per caliper set. That's a local shop too so even though I had to ship them, it was still cheaper with the place I chose. The place I used was 239 per set plus free lettering unless they had do have a stencil made for your design. I might have to continue to bug the guy as to why it can't be made bigger, he said plaque thing they make wouldn't fit and it needs a flat surface, but there is still enough flat surface to extend it. Can you paint over the poweder coat? Like have it powder coat gloss black and have a custom paint shop draw the logo bigger on for me instead of having the logo baked on as well?

Looks awesome Alax, I would leave the red logo. It looks just fine with it short.

That spoiler really sports up the rear; the front end really enhances the aggressiveness. I love a white LS with LSE front... I came

Very nice Alex! Now, maybe get a McLaren grille?

Also, those tips seem a bit too long, and perhaps oval ones would fit the holes better.

Great work though, keep it up :)

I have a mclaren, it's silver birch. Just have to color match them both, the cdc and mclaren. I will be ordering the tri coat paint to try and do it myself, if I can't do it good enough, I'll send them to a shop.

It's just the angle of the tip plus that side is where most of the impact from when I got rear ended was, it bent the exhuast down and out a bit, the angle is off if you look at both of them standing, directly in the middle of the rear, I haven't bent it back. See how the other only sticks out a little bit.

Leo's are a little bigger than that and they look sweet. I'll have to get a pic from him to compare the sizes, but yeah it'll do for now. White with some black accents is sexy! Especially tri coat in the sun light.

Friend discount? I might have to call other places just to verify prices but so far 3 are around that price and mine was still cheaper. Do they do lettering and logos on it?
I dont know why calipers are so expensive, they charge me 25 to do my exhaust tips.

that was just me sending them dissembled calipers and just straight black... but still, $325 for two little logos... damn, even if they do have to do them twice...

I want those calipers! lol

and the silver birch mclaren grill same color as my car :(
