5x108 38mm offset 9.5 inches wide with 255/35/20s they rub if i have any one else in the car :( what should i do?

Get new wheels. Or narrower tires. Or learn to search better. Or all of the above.

bwahaha

Unfortunately, you either need narrower tires, or have someone machine a couple mm off the wheel, maybe roll the fenders.

Would stiffer springs work? Or jus don't ride w/ anyone lol. Or have a weight requirement j/p. My 20's (245 on 8.5) only rub @ speeds of 45-50+ and I have either a heavy pass seat rider, or someone (adult size/weight) is in the rear and we hit a mean dip

Didn't mean to be a d*ck about it. But with all the threads on here about wheels, for anyone to have fitment issues, it's their own fault really.

dont be hard on yourself, that is a situation were being a dick is completley acceptable

Yea well it only rubs when i hit dips and not alot the tires go in alittle as they go up its just hiting the lip on the fender. Other people could have the same wheels and not have this problem becuse Im 260 lbs My friend in the car is 300 lbs and i have 2 batteries in the trunk a dual voice coil Treo 12 and a full tank of gas.I called a few places im going to have the lip bent up.

I went through the same crap with my 18s, dude. Rolled the lips and still had an issue. Wound up selling them and getting wheels that fit right. Maybe the fender rolling will work for you to save you the aggravation I went through.

i think it will and im probbly going to get new shocks and take one of the extra batteries out of the trunk and get a lighter subwoofer.

Which treo do you have? dual 2 ohm that will handle around 1200rms? I'm in the market lol.

yea i belive its dual 2 ohm i need something smaller and im under powering it i only have a TMA 360.2 on it lol

...and this surprises you because... ...who the hell told you it was a good idea to put 9.5s on the back anyway...

im with NYC on this one... new wheels is probably the only true fix - good luck with rolling the fenders...

i got them off craigslist there 9.5 all the way around i got the rims for 650 and the tires for 450 100 to mount and balance you wouldnt of tryed to put them on for that price? Im just going to bend the lip up the lips only 7 or 8 inches the the door part theres no lip and the bumper part there no lip.The car has 145k on it on the original shocks im sure thats not helping the problem.

...well ok at least you didnt go out and buy new wheels that were 9.5 inches wide and expect them to fit... $650 aint bad either, depending on the condition... im just trying to think though, what car could possible fit 9.5" wheels all around with a 5x108 pattern  ...ahh well...idk

...you might be better off having someone actually trim the excess fender off the inside...because if you try to bend it with lets say, a 2x4 and a hammer or something - you might start to crack the clear coat around the wheel-well... and next time do yourself a favor... check to see if they will fit first mmk :D

Nope. You can get new wheels that you know will fit for about that much!

ROFLOL: thats like the Octoburn: eight burns in one

lord knows that i've read enough threads to know by heart whats fits and what doesn't

if its only rubbing on dips and bumps, you can go to autozone and get these little rubber chunks that you put into the spring to reduce the amount that the spring can compress, however when you use them, the ride usually gets much stiffer.

The rims where new in the box! He wrecked his before he got a chance to put them on. They only rub on bumps and dips with 3 people in the car a full tank of gas and 2 batteries and a 12 inch sub in the trunk.as to what they might fit a type S jag with adjustable ride put it on firm lol?

9.5s will fit fine. The +38 offset is the problem. Try and find 9.5" 5/108 wheels in the right offset though. But there are how many threads that would say that if he searched?

I know there are some 10" wide rear wheels that fit the LS. Ferrari ones IIRC.
