Well i had a broken driver handle for the longest of time, and i finally got a new one for it, on the inside of my handle there is letters of FN-10.......reasonable, well the new handle has letters of fn-9, is there any signifacant difference, cause i cannot get the lock to stay in place on the new handle, the holes are different, did they change handles at all for some reason, the rest of the handle bolts right up no problem, also on my handle there was a big metal rod connected on the front side of the handle? if you need pics i can post them

I don't know, but all i know is that the lock will not stay in place, everything is hooked up correcly

You are talking about the handle housing. the handle is the part you actually lift up. The number/letter combo on a new one of those is FN10 also

and that is new out of the box.

That's right, unity - I'd forgot about that.

Ya - quite a big clip slides across the barrel.

Edit: Just read the first post again. So, the barrel doesn't fit into the new body you got? Either way around? Weird.

Pics or it doesn't exist! :)

Or you have a lighted versus non-lighted body. Some years you could get (or was standard) lighted key holes. Those may have been bigger.

No it fits in there fine, but it can turn in the slotted hole, i will get pics as soon as i can get back to my car

Max, can you still buy the fn-10 housing, lets re-do the first post here,

The handle housing fits in the door perfectly, the digit numbers slide into place right, the handle works beutifully, but i am having a hard time to get my LIGHTED lock to stay in place in the handle housing, tomorrow i have made it my goal to return to my storage unit where there has been a huge accident, pictures to come of that as well for they would not let me go to the unit because of the accident that took a 19 year old girls life. and return with many pics of both handles

danny...the hsg is still available...1 left in the system and a lot out in the field of dealers. They cost you 37.00 or you can get the complete kit with handle pins springs etc for 92.35. Now if you need the retaining clip for the lock cylinder that is an additional 6.00.

Here is the accident that kept me from getting to my unit on wednesday.
19 year old girl died on impact, trailer with no chains hooked up came off a truck going southbound, hopped over the median and colided with her, she died instantly, at this point there was a towel over her head and they were about to put a tarp over ther car.

I hate people who have trailers and don't hook up the chains
