Angel Eye Service

Question being what is your switch for the angel eyes lighting? is it connected to a different ballast or what? since anything but white in deemed POPO magnet. r

Man... I had a hell of a time trying to figure out why, when i spliced into the headlights that they CONSTANTLY had power and the angel eyes would never turn off.. even when the car was off they stayed on for hours.. well always.. So the way I wired my angel eyes was with a switch and relay.. Specially since it is illegal to have any color really other than white in your headlights, mine are koolaide blue and would be pulled over instantly (resembles cops headlights they would say )

I hooked up a relay I think like a 40w or something like that relay, I set the trigger switch to turn the relay on was my radio.. So when my radio turns on my headlights potentially could turn on. But I wanted to control them being on or off, so I hooked up a switch on the trigger.. I dunno if its confusing but I can take pictures later if you guys want.. Basically used a relay to turn them on when my radio gets power, then a switch to turn them off and on when I want..
Took me forever to think of a different way to get them power besides using the headlights/side markers..

Also do you need gen 1 or 2?? I have found a couple sets around here for like 50 each side..

headlamps/foglamps tint

Off topic, what did you use to tint your headlamps/foglamps?

I'm sure it is, you could always wetsand it off if it's too dark

Sorry to bump an older thread but its easier posting it here then mailing 6+ people..
I'll be returning from vacation Friday, so first come first serve.. price is still the same $100+ shipping both ways. Thanks everyone..

Tell me about it, I was excited to get my car out of storage and yet some things done to it for the summer. Looks like the Ls may just stay covered up then

do them yourself! Few hours of work for a whole different look for your LS.

I'm on the lookout for a cheap set of Gen I headlights. If i find a cheap set, ill install angel eyes. If they come out good, i may offer this service myself.
