Is today christmas i got a gift for my ls!!

lol finally got my ac compressor , new one is one the right, paid 50 dollars, pulley is in great condition, very quiet, i cleaned it up and greased it

just finished putting it in, going to change the oil before i start it, let you know how it sounds tomorrow

Are you going to change anything else along with the compressor?...like the accumulator & expansion valve? I heard they also need to be changed if compressor is changed.

not brand new, $50 off a salvaged ls, great condition and pulley is way better then my orginial, plus the date on the compressor says 2002, so its newer then my 1999, cleaned it up, alittle wd-40, just put alittle grease where the pulley is, inside and out, just because i dont want the ball bearings to dry out and fall apart again

yes, im going to replace those, but not until i bring it to a shop to have it vacuumed, my purpose of replacing the compressor is just to be able to drive the car without the pully/clutch horrible sound, now i have a working pulley so i drives quietly, if i turned on the ac i would probally start destroying things, so im not going to use my ac until i get the accumulator, drier/reciever, expansion valve, have it vacuumed and hopefully it will hold a charge

thanks lol come on pete, im done with the colors for now, maybe ill paint my calipers red, but ive been wetsanding my car down, taking away all the green its a PITA but its working, i love wetsanding the paint comes out so smooth!
