Kinda figured there was cutting involved.. :shifty: yesss.. Get to hack something up..

haha yea. The uneven chrome. I could have dont without the chrome trim. Other than that it didnt look too bad. The LEDs couldve been straighter but i think it still looked good.
Gonna work on the driver side light tomorrow. Hopefully all will go well and i can complete most of it (minus the tinting)

Those circle tails look better on a G37.
True true. G35 gave me the idea and GMC gave me the parts... LOL i couldn't resist! I love to tear stuff up and make new things out of it!

So you cut right into the black housing? Then what, sealed it back up with epoxy or rtv? I think I'm getting all of the tails off the parts car here so I have 4 times to get it right.. I've already got the designs of the boards done.. I can't wait to see night pics of yours.. LEDs make an awesome difference!

Yup. Just chopped away! haha! Then i used a mix of epoxy and rtv... so yea

B!t@chin! That's sweet! I can't wait now.. I had to spend so much last year to get it in good running shape, now this year, I get to mod.. Looks damn sweet though.. Were those red or white? I'm assuming red since white would probably show through white..

I think doing a square on the inside tails would look good. I don't really know what shape would fit well in the outers though. I believe a triangle would look a little off.

Mine will be a rectangle/square.. I believe that the brake on the outer had 40 leds and the inners have 12.. The turns also have 12.. I think I'm going to go with high intensity red for the brake and yellow for the turn.. I will be also tinting my tails..
