i bought a 04 cobra radiator from ebay. it started leaking two days ago.

Im thinking of going back to a stock radiator, but i want to keep my tranny cooler. should i go stand alone cooler, or should i add the cooler on after the stock tranny cooler on the stock radiator?

what have some of you guys done?

I have mine connected to the top tube witch i believe (correct me if I am wrong)
is after the stock cooler

I just got a stand alone trans cooler from the auto parts store... biggest one I could get... diesel sized cooler...

I think for every 10 degrees cooler you get your trans... you get an additional 10k miles out of it..

just remember you dont want to be to cold you will loose some of the protective properties at a to cold of a temp
thats why my aftermarket cooler has a cool bypass until it warms up

What kind of cooler is it? Since mine is destroyed after the deer incident... I'll need a new one

mine came in a blue and white box that's all i recall but some time this week
I will probably be at my storage and I can tell you then

I used a B&M 70297 with a built-in fan. Doesn't come with any hoses, fittings, or mounting hardware, though. You have to figure that out on your own.

I put the same one driller has on my car, but put it in front of the condensor. I used Parker push-lok hose and fittings.

Damn thats a big ass cooler. I only plan on a 3000- 3600 stall soi didnt go that big, mine is 24 gvw.
A guy at king transmission told me i woulndt need to go any bigger than 24 unless i plan on towing, or racing.

Looks like I'll be getting one of those too then... Driller's car is my car's hero lol

I regularly look at drillers car, dlf's car, midwestbird's car and a few others for inspiration toward my car's goal for fit and finish.
