so i started a thread before but it got accadentally deleted by admin. this will be long winded
my name is zack i am a car guy by defenition. started reading 5.0 mustang mag when i was 8 or 9.when i was a little kid allways wanted to play with toy cars by the age of 9 i could tell you the make and model of every car my dad could drive by. in his brand new 1989 black on grey ford tauras sho runing 120.
and i was allways the one in the family who had to put together all the construct your own furniture crap my fam bought.
when i hit 16 wanted a police interceptor 5.0 fox body sooooo bad but my dad wanted to see his son to live past 20 so the fox body was out.
my very first car was a 1989 lincoln conti SUPERCLEAN grey with tinted windows tinted tail lenses 50k mi. picked it up for 3500 and pimped that bi*** hard for 2 yrs. built my own sound sys all infinity powerd by soundstream great highschool car. when it hit 125k it sh** the head gaskets an axod tranny i hated that drivetrain but loved that car.
so while i was waiting to get the lincoln fixed my dad had this old grey market e30 sitting behind his shop. he told me if i could get it running right i could have it. so fixed it up and drove it slow and ez.
well one day i was late to school and i decided to get there on time. whithin 20 min of driving the piss out of it i fell in love with it have had about 10 of them and still have that first car plus 2 more bmw 325's
last year i was traveling for a living and wanted an awsome road deamon. i lucked up on a slightly edgie 97 conti with no heat in northern ohio. batt was dead and it was ghetto slamed no air in bags) but a well maintained car. i put a batt and gas drove the car to a oil change place and looked her over. drove it to tennessee. changed all the fluids gave it a tune up drove it for a year and fell back in love with a lincoln
was out one day doing my normal hustling
AND THEN I FOUND IT EARLY 93 BUILT IN 11/92 HAS 105K ON IT silver out and mint black inside (the even coverd the factory mats with thin plastic mats). the bags went out in the rear so they parked it beside a bush. went and bought a 09 cls benz they want $450 for it
i hop in my perfect conti look arround in it and realize it was time to set her free. i hual ass to the nearest title max and det a stack on loan agenst the conti. pay the man for the car. head to the hezzie. i gather all my detail tools up and restore the conti back to showroom c/l it throw it in the front yard and it was gone in 7 days
so i get back over to the mark with 10 gal of 93 octane and a new batt the bags are beyond slammed so i try the key and it turns but nothing. call a tow truck got it to my house start t/s
(i had fuel press) i knew that by hiting the schrader valve on the fuel rail. so spark?
my first thought was fuel pump from sitting a yr but nope so coil packs ? but both at the same time .....no..... what about the crank sensor? i reach down and there are no wires there ????
??? o no mice got in the car fu**
(i need to tell you i am 6'5'' and 300lbs so u can comprehend the difficulty i was experiencing) i couldnt get under there and my oaf stumps were not fitting down there
so i turned the wheel and BINGO a place i can jack it up.
so i run to pull apart and clip 2 of the connectors off 4.6s (by the way there is an early 93 in there, 1pc dshaft) i am going to get it tomorrow it any one wants it hit me up
i get back, heat shrink crimp connect the wires and sit down in it. i say a few sweet things to the car cross all my fingers and toes give a prayer to the car gods and hit the key. rururururur pu pu pupupu die. i hit it one moe time force it to 900 rpm and hold it. i expected to hear valve noise and i did. i expected it to run like sh** and it did. so when the valve noise quit i let out and it stalled. so i repeat the process. then she purrs so i get out walk up to the engine lean back cross my arms and smile i did it its alive its alive. and thats when i hear it knock ..................knock...............knock.........knock....knock..knock.knockknockknock so my pulse races i hop back in the car and get it to 1500 then2000 it gets quieter 3000 i dont hear it anymore so i back it to 2000 still quiet so then i go a slow increace from 2k to 4k about 5 timed it made the noise about 2 more times but like silk so far since
today i trouble shot the air ride buy switching the solid state relays abs and air ride. fuses were inspected but no sighn of life in the suspension. i thkin it has passed away i am going to call t.o.d. about a year.

full svcall fluids changed and flushed new jacobs or msd coil packs and wires
full custom spring suspension conversion h&r springs with 5 way adjustable koni's

i had a guy give me a list of what i needed to do the swap but that thread got deleted accadentally by a administratior SO PLEASE ANYONE WHO HAS A LIST OF THE TBIRD PARTS FOR THE FRONT END SWAP POST IT I NEED THE BEST YEAR CARS. AND I NEED TO SOURCE THE REAR SPRING SEATS (the bolt in type) AND SOLID SHOCK MOUNTS AND THE BIGGEST SWAY BAR YOU CAN PUT UNDER THERE if my budget allows me it is getting a track lock and 3.73s
jmod for trans if someone could point me in the right direction of a link of a detailed "how to"
getting a full headers back 2 3/4 exaust with hi flow cats and flows
