center exhaust

its gonna be a little tougher since the spare tire well comes all the way to the back of the bumper and sits just a tad lower.

to pull this off you will either need to have it hang below the bumper and spare tire well or have it ran through the spare tire well, neither one of these is a good ideal. go and take a quick look and you will see what im talking about

anyways it would be so much cooler to have side pipes

Well you could run to the stock muffler location, run a 90, then 90 again to come straight out the center. Dunno if it would work with a muffler in the stock location. May have to delete all together.

it can be done like it is on the newer saleens. but i dont know how it would look. ive sat around smokin stufff and staring at my bumper contemplating things like this for hours but have come up with no conclusions but lots of munchies

Ehh. It might look better if it had 4 pipes like a Vette. Still think I'd rather have side pipes though if I was going to change it.

+1 You beat me to it.. I was just about to say that! :D Side pipes would make this thing a bizzach to lift up on a hoist unless the pipes were really close to the rear tires.. If there's a will, there's a way though.. :p

KleenLS made some nice renderings a while back of an LS with middle exhaust. i personally wouldn't do it but to each his own right?

Not my style either. Looks like missing something with them in the center

i dont even think theres room for that, the bumper is right up next to the spare tire well,

Yeah, I've never looked all too closely at that location underneath. I was just shooting from the hip.

it was something i thought of a few years ago, when i had my 1st gen (since it had no bumper cutouts) and i wanted to do something that i have not seen before, my buddy was going to "shrink" the spare well a bit, but then i would have had to relocate the battery... in the end it just wasn't worth the troubles.
