Has anyone seen or tried this product?

dont waste your money. If you want a tune get an SCT, not a cheap replacement (although they arent even comparable)

i was just running throw the ebay ads and seen it.i have a SCT,made a world of differance on the shifting but not that impressed with the performance.Cant wait to sell my house in Missouri so i can really start on the performance improvements.

If it's anything like my SCT tune I found out that they do nothing else but change the shift points and remove limiters. So there is no power gain. Quite frustrating because I never would have purchased a tuner if I knew they weren't going to alter the a/f curve or anything else to get the most out of the car.

From previous vehicles I've owned and had tuned they would do a 93 octane tune and it would make a noticeable difference in both smoothing out the rpm band and increasing the power. Shifts didn't change on the other cars because they were all 5 speed manuals.

I don't know if it's laziness on the tuners part or not, but 93 octane tunes should have an optimized tune for that octane fuel.

whaaaateeefuk are you talking about?

even the canned sct bs files make HUGE changes to A/F

i dont guess changing from 10/1 af to 12/1 af is a significant change?

there is alot more inside an sct tune than just removing speed limiters and changing shift points.

where did get this flawed information, that you are spewing as fact?

The mail order tune isn't always what they are cracked up to be. A lot depends on who developed the tune, and more depends on the condition of the car (plugs, wires, etc)

I got my chip from Lonnie at www.blueovalchips.com I it made a hell of a difference. In not only my shifts but my power. I can floor it from a stop in stock mode squeal tires for about 2 to 3 seconds and that's it. Turn it to either one of my performance tunes and it burns rubber all through 1st and a nice chirp into second. And this being with 3 JLAudio 10's in the back about 75lbs of extra weight. http://www.blueovalchips.com/index.php?l=product_list&c=1
