Took out the pop-rivets and plastic push pieces. There seems to be a number of nuts that unscrew from the inside of the trunk but all they do on my car is spin. These look to be what's holding the bumper cover in place. Anyone know what the deal is? I could get pics if needed.

Did you get the ones loose from inside where the tail light mounts? Look in there, you'll find two mounting points inside each one. Tail light has to come off completely.

Yea, those were the pop-rivets I was talking about.

There are some nuts in the curve. The bolt part is on the metal piece and the metal piece is riveted onto the bumper cover. You'll see two nuts to take off inside where the tail light housing goes.

Where else does it feel like it's holding at besides the two corners?

There is something holding it right below the gas opening and there is a nut corresponding to that area on the inside. Then all along the back bumper right inside the trunk there are bolts that seem to hold on the bumper cover but they just spin. Do not unscrew.

It's been a couple months, but i'm pretty sure you have about 10 nuts along the inside. You have to pull the carpet back and there are 6-8 on the back and 2 on each side.

It was and I bet I'll have to cut them off.

That's gonna suck, depending on how you go about cutting them out but remember, that piece has a metal strap that you can't see and it supports that curve and holds it in place. The metal bends easy if a lot of pulling and yanking has been done trying to get it off.
