Almost 100% that ill be in a new (to me) LS by next week, but I have a huge issue, im a car audio FREAK and have my system exactly how I want it, well anywho, how in gods name am I gonna be able to fit two 15's in the trunk??

Am I gonna have to get something custom built? Anyone have an LS with L7's? (Any square 15" subs idc)

Prob custom if you want any trunk room. Isn't that over kill? You car audio junkies, how loud do you guys really play the subs?. Or is it just more on the having a big set up than acutally using them. Rode in a friends car with probably some 12s in the trunk and he wasn't even half way blasting them and my hears were hurting. Felt like I was going bleed from my ears.

Do you already have the l7's or are you buying them ?If your buying them i would buy something else.I know so many people with them and about 75% of them blow and the other 25 sound like poop...lol .Kicker was good back in the day but now ur just payin for the name. There are alot better subs out there for the same money or cheaper.

I just put my single 12 in last thursday and want to take it out already, i think my rear view mirror is going to fall off and the bass is turned all the way down on the amp and the deck.

Yea L7s get stupid loud cuz they're so big, but sound like doodoo.

I would say if you are wanting them to be in sufficient airspace, you are kissing any trunk room gbye.

I disagree with saying that im paying for the Kicker name. and yea I do play them at close to full capacity, ans yes they do sound good. I paid zero for them, and couldnt be happier with how they sound, heres an old video I made, they sound like poopoo in it only becase of the cheap-o camera I used

(BTW, Old Explorer, Old headunit, old door speakers, & tweeters, and I dont believe I had my Kinetik cell in this yet)

true that just for one L7 i think the lowest recommend on a sealed box is 1.5 cu ft

Thats fine with me, Im not a grocery getter LOL. Worst case scenario, I have the backseat so its all good in the neighborhood

small sealed boxes 3.4 cubic ft total, the box has to be custom built (of course) and have plenty of braces. but it can be easily done. it does come out all the way to the back edge of where the windshield meets the trunk. and your right, you will be using the back seat if you ever need to take a lot of stuff anywhere.

Yea that's what I thought, now who in southern Michigan wants to build me a box lol.

Thats why i was asking if you were buying them or already had them ,And if they were free than thats even better..

Traded my old 12" last model L7's and an old big screen for these 2 brand new in box, with the brand new prefab box

i've had 3 different kicker subs and i loved all 3. they offer a different bass frequency than say JL Audio, but it's good if you know how to adjust your settings, like with any other sub. I've had friends with L7's in their car that have dropped their rear-view mirror and it didn't sound like crap. with that being said, i've x'd my sub due to the fact that i was hardly bumping my music loud anymore and was more interested in the highs and mids. so i have 2 set's of 6 1/2's and 2 sets of 6x9's in my rear deck. i've never complained about kickers though, except when you go on the low end with some of those round ones, but that's another story.

The only Kickers I think are worth while are the L7's, any of theyre circular subs (Like the Comp's) ive heard are just garbage and sound distored as hell.

But yea, my amp has about 9 different adjustment knobs, along with 047593459837 on my headunit LOL
