I freaking hate service shops.

Too bad you aren't in my neck of the woods, I'd be happy to do it for $300.

What complete BS. $300-350 is what is costs around here to have gears done. We are talking dropping the car off and having the shop r/r the pumpkin themselves. I'm sorry there is in no way shape or form $700 in labor more then a solid axle car including dropping the tank.

You can do it, You should think of putting in a new pump when the tank is droped.
I would get that 93 shaft balanced, new u-joints installed.

+1

If the pumpkin is out, I can see ~$300 to have the gears installed thats a good price, but not with a full r&r of it, + the gear swap and the driveshaft r&r, unless you know someone well like xlr mentioned...

Talk with Tom, and then come down and see me

Jeff

LOL!

I got a shop full of junk right now, but I'm sure I can make room to get that badass looking Mark in here to do that diff swap for you.

Give me a holler, at least I can entertain you with some crappy humor at the minimum :p

Jeff - Great to see you all again!

Wow... Jeff is here... nice!

Sorry kind of been on tour, teaching school, taking first at Silver State, Viva Terlingua, Texas, The Texas Mile, it's been a long road and still rowing hard.

But I'm still twirling the wrenches, fabbing the weird, hot gluing whatever I point my welder at, and still trying to make everyone go fast and carve a great apex.

Looks like most of my personal projects have been on the shelf (driveway) lately, but since I have been making some decent progress in taking care of some of the things on my list, like the Cobra R Clone:

And, as it's sleeting like a madman in a padded room today, I'm rebuilding a T-5 for a restoration LX Mustang, my Turbocharged Pre-Runner/Crawler is also not far from being done.

This comes with being pretty busy with more than a handful of Shelby's that keep taking up the new Diggs, but that's ok, I don't mind, although time is getting really tight, and I'm ramping up for the 2 day track event we're putting on here the first week in March and it's gonna throw things back into high kill mode to get everything prepped and ready to go.

We have two Griggs suspension set-up's that have to be installed and tuned for the upcoming event along with the final touches on the Cobra R Clone (3.73's Tom).

But I'm still lurking around, making sure my fellow LVC guys aren't getting F**cked buy the local shops.

I always have something wild and crazy going on here.

BTW, kudos goto Tom for lending a hand on some tuning, thanx Brother!

Well if you play nice, I wind up being a pretty easy going kind of person, but this Sunday is out though, remember is Sweeties Day, and The Greater Being knows that we wouldn't want to make my Sweetie and unhappy kind of girl ;)

Ummm well........ Ummm well at least there's a full bath here at the new diggs so you can shower up.

You know I should quote that and put in in my sig :p

PM SENT!

Damn SVO, I <3 your garage.

Thanx, it's not all that and a box of Cracker Jacks, just another day at the office sir.

The other side isn't all that impressive, three 85's (GT, LX 5x5, LX coupe) a 92' (Griggs/5.0RESTO catalog car) and Patches the 88' Turbo Coupe:
