Bad news...need help.

Sorry to hear about that Stack.

I have a set of 17" Bullets that would get you rolling around for a bit. The logistics of getting them to you is a bit of a problem but, if you need em' you can use em.

Hell yea....by that time I'll be ready to get "back to the track" full time.

Right now there is ALOT of good property for sale round these parts.
Lots of people bailing out of the area after pocketing their hurricane IKE dollars.

There are 75K properties that couldn't be touched for 150K, 2 years ago.
Many MANY "fixer upppers" too.

If I could sell this dam house in Richfield I would have a good down payment for something.
What is the Beaumont / Port Arthur area like?

Be awesome to be close to a track that is open for more then 3 months out of the year.

I wanna check out Austin...

Great place to visit... poor place to live.

Cost of living is very high....it's currently having an identity crisis.

Old Austinites want it to stay in the 70's.

The new YuppyCrowd in Austin is trying to change it to something it's not.

hence the "keep austin weird" bumperstickers.

Beaumont/PA isn't too bad, it's a "little close" to Louisianna for my liking.

There is a decent dragstrip bout 20 miles from Beaumont..and the GOOD track that is close by me is only 80 miles from Beaumont. but I-10 between Beaumont and Houston..SUCKS.

We go to the Evadale(by beaumont) dragstrip once or twice a year.
usually when they have the TX vs LA race.

Dam can't imagine a track within 20 miles.
She wants to be close to the gulf.
What is Texas city like I was guessing anything close to Galveston is real spendy.

Texas City is where I was born'd/hatched.

There is alot of gang and thug activity in that predominatly black area...
That is the neighboring city to where they found my Mark 8 at after it was stolen, Texas City and LaMarque are basicly the "same area", with the same problems.

There are some nicer areas in and around Texas City, but unless you've lived in an heavily industrial area, your probably not gonna like Texas City, it's 80ish percent chemical plants, along with much of the area down here.

Where I live it takes me 15 minute to get to Galveston Island and the coast.
I actually live closer to the coast than that, but in a different direction.

If you check on area such as "San Leon" which is a quaint little fisherman community located on a penisula where "the water" is within walking distance in ANY direction.

Seabrook is also a nice little coastal comminuty
Bayview (where I grew up) is also a quiet little town

The Zipcode for bayview is 77518 if you want to do some property searches
try www.har.com they have a pretty decent realestate locater
