I was thinking of paying to join the llsoc.com forum. And I was wondering what people's opinions of the site are. Is that forum worth $40 when this forum is free? Thank you for the input!
 
I have also wondered that. I dont want to sign up if no one goes on there anymore.
 
I'm told it's mostly a social hangout now. I'm also told that there's some extremely useful material on there but it takes a lot of searching to find it. This is just what was told to me by a member over there.

If you pay for membership on this site you also get some special privileges.
 
Well worth it, payed subscription entitles you to more information than on this form. They are geared more to performance LS, Not a social hangout....very polite not the BS that goes on here.

I have learned more about the mechanics of the LS then here.

A number of members are on both.

I am a member at llsoc and I have not regretted it one bit. I joined in 2006. Yes there is a lot more technical stuff available, it is not hard to find. when you learn to search. I will be renewing the membership in shortly also.

It's a very informative site. I became a member back 2006. After it expired, I never renewed it because I had found this site and spent most of my time on here.
 
$40 a year/$.77 week(a lot less than a cup of coffee at McD) or $.11 a day very inexpensive for a wealth of information.
 
The past few years, LLSOC has had a really nice looking LS calendar too and I've been a member since 2001.
 
Hey guys , I just wanted to bring this post back instead of a new one about LLSOC. I was also a member there about 5 or 6 years ago but I don't have any of my old info (same as here) so I e mailed them to see if they would reset my info or PW. I also ordered the etched decals from them. I haven't received the decals or heard back from LLSOC. So two weeks ago I sent another email. This time , regarding my order. Still nothing. Are they gone or what ? The money was taken from paypal. Anyone know what might be going on ?

To whom are you sending the email? If it's Lou, he gets pretty busy. I'll check into it.....

I sent one to Membership and the other to questions. Both sent to @LLSOC.com.

I don't remember if they do or not. Sorry. If someone else doesn't answer, when I get this straightened out. Ill look and let you know !

Yes, but most of us keep our stuff.

BTW, we have the engineers that actually worked on the LS over there. For obvious reasons they don't use their real names.
