I like the new look. Looks sporty!!! Those 8 spoke rims are heavy. I didn't think they would be that much heavier but they were. I got a little work out getting them out of my trunk. I also just changed the serpertine belt and got rid of that really annoying squeaky noise. I ended up fixing the rim that had some damage myself, I saved 200 bucks. Used a blow torch and a hammer and took the dent out. The paint didn't match 100% but it blends in pretty good. If it bugs me enough I will probably end up just painting that whole rim.A little before and after.A little before and after.

You just didn't like the 8 spokes?

I thought u were getting these for winter wheels or to paint.

But then I see you are located in florida or california or something.

How much was the serpentine belt? What did it cost you to have it replaced? Ive started to get notice my belts been getting gradually more annoying.

Hope you didn't take the temper out and weakening the metal using a torch.

Yeah, I'm in california. No snow for me. The 8 spokes look classy and luxurious but not sporty and I like the sporty look.Thats why I didn't go with the gen1 5 spoke chrome either. They dont look as sporty as the silver.

The belt was cheap.I dont remember excalty how much. I got it at autozone a few months ago but since the noise stopped I didn't put it on and it came back with the cold so I changed it. I thought it was one of the pulleys that was making the noise because the belt would move back and forth on one of them and only make noise as it reached the black edge part of the pulley. I guess it was the belt cause it hasn't made the noise again yet. I installed it myself. My dad helped me. He pulled the tensioner while I took it off and put it back on. Space is really limited so it was a little difficult to move but I got it done.

Hope you didn't take the temper out and weakening the metal using a torch.

Take the temper out?

Yeah I will be putting them up for sale here in a few days. I have no use for them. Shoot me a pm if you're interested

Just wondering, but are you ever going to color match the outside of your grille to the ext of yourr car? or do you plan to just leave it that way

I really wanted the 5 spokes too, I have the chrome 8's as well... Your car isn't silver but close enough, I don't think I am going to do it.

I did order the eibach kit though, and am looking for spacers, what size do I need to get a good look with the Stock wheels?

HylifeLS and/or 02V8Sport I believe posted the info a while back. May wanna do a search for 'spacer' or by either of their user names.

I like the 8 spokes. It just looks more classy.

Thats is exactly what I think. 8 spokes look more classy but that is not what I am going for. A classy car does not have flowmaster, aftermarket grill or sport rims. A classy car has rims like the 8 spoke chrome rims which make the car look nice, classy, luxurious, but its not the look I want. Like I said before, I went with the 5 spoke silver and not the 5 spoke chrome because the chrome doesn't look sporty like the silvers do and the 8 spokes dont look sporty at all. Nice rims but not sporty which is what I want.

For the grill, I am planning on painting it to match the car's exterior color but I wanted to get a few other parts to paint with it as well to just get them painted all at once.
