I was doing the sensor lowering on my 95 LSC and the fronts went well, but the back is a different story.
I compressed the sensor and the rears pumped all the way up, compressor was on for at least a minute, Then I realized that the rear sensor needs to be extended to lower the rear. So I redid it and extended it all the way, but the rear wont come down, its ALL the way up and is just about undrivable tdue to the bumpy ride.
I have replaced the sensor to its origanal position and still the rear bags are not venting down.
I need your help! Isn't there a reset switch somewhere on the to set it back to normal?
I did flip the switch in the trunk while working on it and it is back on now
Could it be a thermal overlaod on the compressor thats needs to be reset?
Any ideas?

Jack up the back end. Pull the syllanoids. It vents the bags entirely. Then re-adjust where you want the hight position sensor to go. Plug everything back in. Flip your switch and whalla.

Little bit of caution. When you do this it vents quickly. Make sure you have the car on jack stands. The sylanoids come out by taking the little chrome holder off .. use a screwdriver but don't loose them and be carefull with them.. you don't want to break them. Then twist the sylanoid. It will twist halfway..then it will twist again in the same direction. It's a 2 stage thing. I think the 2nd stage lets the air out.

Sensor lowering the rear is opposite of the front. The rear has to be decompressed.

I saw the height sensor but where are the solenoids located? Are they the white plastic attached to the top of the bag assembly?
Thanks for the quick replies.

Yes. Pop the clip and turn the solenoid, can't remember which way, until it stops, pull down and the bags will empty. Push it up, turn in opposite direction, and put the clip back on.

Don't be surprised if you have a leak around the solenoids afterward, as it is customary to replace the "O"rings on the stems as they dry rot.

Thank you all so much. My poor linc is out front looking like a darn stink bug. The front is dumped and the back is full.
Its dark and cold now but Ill hit it first thing in the morn and let you know how it goes.
Why would the system do this, is it too much pressure for the solenoids to vent automatically?
Thanks again, you all are aewsome and this forum ROCKS!!!

It may vent during the night. The system is still active about an hour after the car is shut down. With the air ride on, (ignition off) I would jack the back up a little and let it set for a few min and then drop the jack back down. If you do mess with the solenoids, be careful because that's not one of the best places to have a hand. If it's not down in the morning when you go out, I would just drive it around for about 10 min or so and see what it does.

If you do pop the solenoids and drain the bags, do not drop the car all the way to the ground and the try to air it back up. Support the rear of the car wth a jack so bags are not completly compressed. Not tires off the ground support, but at least 1/2 to 3/4 compressed. Makes it easier on the compressor and you may have to cycle 2 to completly air em up.

I went out this morning and vented the solenoids myself, worked like a charm. I undid the bottom mounting bolt on the rear and lifted the ball mount bracket up so the bottom bolt marks were now at the top bolt and tightened it. PERFECT!!!
On the front I used a metal braket. Removed the ball mount bolted this bracket in its place and then mounted the ball back on top. Its a bit too low still and rides a bit bouncy at certain speeds. Im going to give it a few days and see if I get used to it and readjust it again if needed. My camera battery was dead so I didnt get pics yet, I'll work on that tomorrow along with posting some height measurments.
You measure from the bottom lip of the wheel to the top of the wheel well right?
