Friday night, me and a group of guys in my squad went out for a good time in Nashville. We're stationed in Fort Campbell, KY 101st Airborne Divison.

I was wasted, and a buddy of mine was under age so he was designated driver.

I ended up in the back of my other friend's Equinox while the underage guy drove my LS back with 2 of the joes. Turns out there was a wreck on I-24 going into Clarksville. Well he didn't see the cop in the left lane (I don't know why), but he rear ended him doing 65mph without braking. totaled both the cop car, my LS, and he hit the cop car so bad...the cop car moved up and hit the already wrecked chrysler the cop was investigating.

Needless to say, the accident is still under investigation, but I got my V6 LS paid off and decided to step it up to a V8 this time...im in love with the Lincoln LS, what can I say?

Well goodbye 2005 Lincoln LS V6 (Abe), and hello 2005 Lincoln LS V8!

Here's a pic that was in the newspaper front page.

Titled, 3 Fort Campbell soldiers hurt in car crash.

p.s.

Here is the article!

Well, congrats on the upgrade I guess.
How bad are your friends injuries? That car looks in OK shape for hitting a parked car at 65mph!

Lol, you know Officer Caver?

Well the guys weren't that hurt, just a little sore, and some bruised ribs.

Nothing broken or major.

The LS is one of the top 5 safest cars, so they say. And this is proof. Guys, your wife's Honda wouldn't have saved these guys lives i'll tell you that! Lol.

Anywho, I got my V8 now, and im pretty pumped about it, it needs minor work such as the roof velcro detaching, the drivers seat leather is drying and cracking pretty bad, but no rips yet. The rest of the seats are flawless. Wierd eh? It could use a tint job, OH!

And what is this phone button do? Is that for bluetooth?

no i dont personally, i just read your article, and wanted to be the first to post hes a b!tch on LVC.com

you running sprint springs or eibach's? that thing is low!

just kidding dude. glad everyone is ok, especially at speeds of 65mph.

Is that a black LS? I cant tell. Either way, did you have a, or paint the rear surround? snatch it off before insurance!

designated driver my a$$ Mike Caver is a PUNK B!ITCH!!

I dont get it,... why?

Funny thing, around here being that its a tourist town over the summer theirs a group of people with a business that will actually drive you in your car home if you are intoxicated. They have cards at every bar and every bar has them on speed dial. I forget the cost but its cheaper than a cab seeing how its your gas they are running on. Apparently these guys make some money from what I hear also.

Glad to see no one was hurt. Sucks for the car but at least you get a upgrade. That looks like a hell of a collision!

How did tha that guy not the a car with the signal lights on? Was he sleeping? Nice you can upgrade.

There was a cop on the right hand lane, so when he switched over to the left, he didnt see the cop in the left hand lane I guess, maybe he was rubber necking or something who knows.

It was a dark charcoal grey 2005 Lincoln LS V6. The basic package nothing special.

The charcoal metallic? Regardless of it being a basic model its still a awesome color.

Are you sure the officers lights were on? If he was fdorced to shift lanes do to the accident and the officers lights werent on I wouldn't exactly consider it his fault. That officer in the left hand lane should have also been facing in the correct direction, from the looks of it since its as if he got plowed in the rear he was not.

Glad to know evryone is ok looks like your gaurdian angel was riding along with U!

I wasn't actually in the car, a guy in my squad was being the designated driver for my 2 buddies, and I was riding in the back of my friends Equinox as I was drunker than drunk....woke up with a terrible hang over and a horrible out come :(

Goodnight turned out terrible.

thats f'ed up man, glad nobody got seriously hurt, that should teach that cop a lesson in parking any where near a crash that every body wants to watch, i hope his in car video ends up "Worlds Craziest Police Videos" on Spike TV

twice i've had a sober designated driver and my LS has got wrecked. the first time while we where stopped at a red light in front of somebodys drive way they just deceided to back out onto the road with out looking and put a sweet hole in the back bumper with there trailer hitch, the second time some emo deer deceided to he couldn't take the pressure of life any more and ended it all by jumping in front of us. they say you should use a designated driver for safty but every time i do i get F'ed by it.

i'm telling you just drive it home yourself, and if your really wasted just drive as fast as you can, therefore greatly reducing the time you spend on the road and minimizing the chance of getting into a wreck

(btw the last pargraph was heavy in internet sarcasm)

too bad I cant get that factory intake, dont think it would fit my 02 V6
