HVAC problem help quick!!!!

My ac is blowing cold but not coming out the vents alot.You can feel it coming out but not as hard as usual.Its coming out like i have it on low when i really have it on hi.Does anyone know what this could be? I just got it out the body shop all they repalced was my bumper and driver side headlight.Is anything near there they could have messed up?I did notice that it looks like the blower motor turning slow.

Looks like the blower motor is turning slowly? Did you take it out?

Anyway, sounds like the blend door.

Do you have a Gen I or a Gen II? It could be a vacuum harness problem in the back of the HVAC unit, the HVAC unit itself or possibly a blower motor problem.

well the arm has been completely broke off since i got the car but i never had a problem out of it.When i picked up my car from the body shop yesterday everything worked but its like it just wont blow the max.I did the eatc self test and got codes 135,155.

Try wiggling that connector on the blower motor, may not be the problem but if it is, it's the easiest fix ever.

I had that problem, turned out to be some corrosion on my resistor, i cleaned the it off and the problem went away for a couple months and came back, I ended up geting a blower motor module(resistor) well a couple of them from the u pull it junk yard. Some years have a different sized module, but they all will work.

Have you actually been able to confirm the blower is spinning slowly?

All is well took out that little black box that controls the blower motor cleaned it with some electrical parts cleaner.Works as it should now.

I'm having the same problem. Sometimes the blower will work fine. Then when I hit a good bump it will quit. And later, when I hit another good bump it will come back on again. Sounds like a loose connection to me. Where is that little box located on a GEN1 1996 Mark VIII? Maybe I need to clean the contacts. Thanks.

Thanks! I fixed the problem earlier this evening not long after my post. That was indeed the problem.

Yeah. I live about a mile down a dirt road. Everybody flies up and down this road and it's like a washboard. I usually drive about 3mph. Annoys the heck out of the neighbors if one gets behind me. Hahahaha!
