Well I was at the parts store today and a gentleman with a vicky told me that if you unhook the capacitor on th side of the coils it will deliver more spark all the time. He was sprayin his with nos, it looked like :q:q:q:q but when he lifted the hood, I was amazed. He had his unhooked also. he said that its more likely to fry a coil, but said his had been this way for 1.5 years now with no issue. So I figured I would ask y'all about this.

More spark? LOL

Right, cause more spark makes a bigger explosion. Idiot he is for thinking that. Take a match or a MAP torch to a bucket of gas, either way it explodes. I think I read an article on this in fact. Something about more spark does not mean faster flame front. Now if you forced induction, etc. You need different spark plug gaps due to fuel/air density. Just as you would need a different gap in some cars at radical altitude differences. But thats all about creating a spark, not flame front.

These same ricers think that have a four tip spark plug is better too. Or that iridium plugs add performance.

Jerry W wrote a small bit about this in response to a WeaponX coil moron... basically more spark doesn't = more power.

Thank you, I knew it couldnt be that easy, you always hear these auto legends, or mobile myths, and they are never true. I'm still waiting for that bottle of octane booster I bought when I was 16 to increase the performance. lolololololol

the orange flavor? What about AMP will that make the stereo louder?

It was a motorcycle not a car.

Technically, both being a motorized vehicle, so I can see why you'd confuse a motorcycle with a car, but I assure you, they are not the same... not even close.

Actually I was just hitting the edit button when you posted. I was thinking of the dude with the firebird that ran brake cleaner through his engine and after I hit enter I remebered it was a dude with a GSXR.
