removing rev limiter on 1gen v6?

I was unable to find a wiring diagram for the vehicles computer and did a bunch of searching for a topic like this, but with no luck.

2000 LS sport v6 silver
pretty much stock
non-alpine system
DIY intake, rockford p3 10, alpine 500 watt 2 ch amp, infiniti kappa 3 ways in the doors, stock pos door speakers moved to trunk, all 6 running off a 6 ch alpine surround amp

i cannot stand the cupholders in this car.

I dip... and my dip cup sits too high/barely fits in the cupholder..

plus those 89 cent xlarge speedway cups dont fit either... kinda bugs me

Yes, the cupholder center console from an '01 '02 will fit the '00.

Are you looking to remove the rev limiter or the speed limiter? Different animals.

sure thing. it.s relevancy is the fact that he has a vehicle to put the ls to shame. relative to that specific car, the ls is no growling engine that.s for sure.

i.m sure if frogman had a problem with my post, he would deal with me directly, and i would modify it if he thought there was somethong wrong with it.

frogman is very capable of defending himself, and stating how he feels about certain posts/subjects.

Hell, a properly tuned Mark VIII can put the LS to shame. Sorry. Now, granted, Quick's LS can put a properly tuned Mark VIII to shame as well. So I don't see why you had to bring up the Merc.

He is "upset" because the man knows how I feel about telling people of my "toys", be them cars, boats or airplanes. Incidentally, I don't own an airplane. And he did have a point, really.

Actually, there is no need to edit my post. I just read it, and realized I did not do anything other than state a vehicle that the LS pales in comparison to. Nowhere did I say that frogman owned a benz. 94m5 was gracious enough to divulge that.

I can see how that would seem obvious from someone who knows what cars frogman owns, but my post did not directly give any information as to who owns a car like that.

If you want to use the steering controls for your radio I think the best place to go would be crutchfield. I paid 50 bucks for mine, but it is for an alpine dvd head unit.

im going to best buy today anyway... so ill check there... i just really hate to spend 15 bucks on one then 2 weeks down the road find one that uses the steering wheel controls
