Stangman
Project car a.d.d.
I didnt have much to do yesterday besides clean up the garage a little so I decided to tinker with the Mark...
On my list of things to do was:
1. Clean the windows  they were bad!
2. Fix my darn console lid AGAIN
3. Try and figure out why it acted up under hard load
Well, I just happened to have a MAF sensor from a set of injectors I had bought, and I swapped it in and was amazed at how I actually had cold start throttle response and no hessitation! And when I was driving I could stand in it and it would spit and sputter! Amazing what A MAF can do.
Secondly, My console lid broke again, this time it would pop up no matter what. I had it taped down with electrical tape for a few days. So I took the lid off and had some 5-min plastic weld, Turns out that the holes that the screws go into were split from years of abuse, and had actually broke off the lid bottom. So I had to find what bits and pieces I could and reconstruct them. I used a decent amount of epoxy but I think I finally got it. I was even able to epoxy the release button back onto it. I'm happy with it, it finally doesnt look broke!
Now if I could just get a decent set of headlights...
